The Ministry of Information is denying reports in the international media that original tapes of Bob Marley and Peter Tosh recordings were among items stolen the archives at the defunct Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation, (JBC).

The music library, which was under the watch of the National Archives, was stripped of 80 per cent of its content.

Information Minister Olivia "Babsy" Grange said they cannot say specifically what was stolen.
