The Prime Minister is doing the right thing by not conceding defeat to the opposition Jamaica Labour Party in light of the fact that some the JLP candidates have dual citizenship with the constitution forbid for members of parliament to have. Even if the Prime Minister does concede defeat, it would not be a real defeat for the PNP, nor would it be a real victory for the JLP because of the closeness of the outcome; What this means is that the PNP will be a strong opposition, so strong that the JLP will not be able to push through any bills without the PNP consent, the JLP basically wont be able to have any stable rule. After 18 years of being without power, if the JLP call this result a victory they are seriously delusional. If the results/outcome of this general election stand the way it is, the one good thing that will come of it is that we will sharply see the violence in Jamaica subside and reduce without the JLP implementing a single crime policy.
