Seems like these awards are fighting against dancehall in a very barefaced way. Biggest example is the reggae Academy awards. If you are a reggae/dancehall fan you would know that Mavado was the most popular most requested Artist last year and more hits than any other artist yes he did not receive a single nomination. Which makes it clear the academy is trying to pursue an agenda against dancehall and targeting Mavado specifically.
